“I want to be whiter than the dress,” said no bride ever! Beautiful and sun-kissed skin always looks fabulous against a white gown, and getting a perfect wedding spray tan is easy at iTAN. We vow you won’t turn orange, stain your wedding gown or take away from your picture perfect wedding day look. Here are our top wedding FAQ’s and how to get the perfect wedding day spray tan:

1. How far in advance should I get my wedding day spray tan?
Save the best for last! Your wedding day spray tan should be the last thing you check off your beauty checklist. Get your wedding day spray tan one or two days before your big day to enjoy the best results.

2. Which spray tan is best for my wedding day?
We recommend Airbrush for everyone in your bridal shower, including you! Airbrush is the most customizable spray tan option, and our expertly trained salon consultants apply it. Most brides find that Airbrush delivers natural, body contouring results that complement their bridal glow.

3. How soon do I have to book my wedding spray tan?
Schedule your Airbrush appointment two weeks in advance, and book your appointment for one or two days before your wedding. Make sure you schedule all your beauty appointments before your Airbrush appointment, including waxing, manicures, pedicures, threading, bodywraps, etc.

4. Will the spray tan stain my gown?
If you get your spray tan two days before your wedding day, it will not stain your gown. When you get your spray tan, let it develop for a full day. Avoid getting a spray tan the night before to help eliminate chances of the solution transferring to your gown.

5. Will my spray tan survive my beach wedding (aka the sweat!)?
Yes, we promise your spray tan can outlive your sweat! If you’d like to skip a spray tan all together, that’s okay too. We suggest that our brides start sun tanning a month before their wedding so that they have enough time to tan smart. Check out our smart sun tanning tips here.

6. Will I be able to wear perfume or body lotion?
Alcohol can help remove your spray tan, so avoid concentrated amounts of perfume or exfoliating body lotions. A light, scented mist is the way to go!

7. Do you recommend a trial?
Everyone is different, some of our brides want to know how dark they can get with a spray tan. If you’re interested in a trial, do it at least two weeks before your actual wedding spray tan. A spray tan can last up to 10 days, so you want to have enough time between spray tans.

8. Do you have to take off all your clothes?
No, you don’t have to take off all your clothes before you spray tan, but most of our guests prefer it. No clothes, no tan lines! We also provide a disposable thong so you can see a difference in color.
