Ladies: Own Valentine’s Day

Posted on February 10th, 2017

Single ladies, this Valentine’s Day we challenge you to own it! No date, no problem. There are plenty of ways to have the best Valentine’s Day yet. Plus, there’s always plenty to love in beautiful Southern California. Here are a few things you can do this Valentine’s Day to celebrate with your amazing self or your loved ones.

Host a Galentine’s Day Dinner
No cards, no candy! A Galentine’s Day dinner is the perfect occasion to celebrate being fabulous with all your favorite people! Plus, hosting a Galentine’s Day dinner means you can go straight to the good stuff; delicious food and dessert. We all have that Top Chef recipe we’ve been wanting to try at home, or better yet, you can never go wrong with pizza. You can even spice things up with some at-home karaoke or a secret valentine.

Plan a Galentine’s Spa Day
Round up your single girlfriends and head out for a Galentine’s Spa Day. If you’re seeking a relaxing winter renewal you can head to iTAN for BOGO spa specials on Spa Sundays, or your neighborhood hotel for a one-day getaway.

Indulge Yourself
If you can’t take the day off, that’s okay too. Indulge yourself by spending the afternoon loving yourself by heading out of work early for a manicure and pedicure, Photo Facial, or even a Netflix marathon. This Valentine’s Day and every day, you do you.

Send Love
Remember the last time you wrote a handwritten card, or sent flowers to grandma? Pick up your favorite pen, tidy up your cursive and send some handwritten love. Whether it’s your best friend that’s thousands of miles away, your grandma or your mom, we promise receiving a heartfelt token of your love will make their day and yours too. Spread some kindness!

Volunteering
Volunteerism is one of our favorite ways to share love! Call your local shelter or favorite rescue and see if you can help out. Puppies always uplift the spirits! If you can’t make it out to your go-to nonprofit or community program, call your favorite couple and volunteer to babysit their kids for date night.

Happy Valentine’s Day, #iTANfan!
