Find an activity you enjoy

Luke Milton was one of our favorite trainers on Revenge Body with Khloé Kardashian, and he knows a thing or five about whipping bodies into Kardashian-level shape! Luke suggests the best workout is one you will continue to do, whether it’s walking, running, swimming or group exercise. Find something you like and try and do it at least 30-40 minutes per day.

HIIT ‘em when your best shot

No time to HIIT the gym? Then high-intensity interval training (HIIT) may be for you. Celebrity fitness trainer Jackie Warner believes long, boring workouts aren’t the best way to lose weight. How long you work out isn’t as important as how strong you work out! You can get great results from a short 10- to 20-minute HIIT workout, making it easy to fit into your busy schedule.

Cardio is key

When it comes to weight loss, cardio is essential to any exercise program. Even Tone It Up’s Karena and Katrina admit cardio is kind of “blah,” but they insist there’s a lot of variety you can play with. The duo suggests going on a brisk walk with a friend, riding your bike to work, taking a salsa class or going for a dip in the ocean or pool. In short, just get your body moving!

Amp up exercises by adding weights

While you can get a good workout using solely bodyweight, adding weights gives your muscles the extra challenge it craves for maximum results. If you’ve mastered basic moves like squats and lunges, Self Magazine suggests holding a set of dumbbells or a medicine ball to make these types of bodyweight moves more challenging and effective.

No gym, no problem

Instagram fitness sensation Kayla Itsines believes efficiency is the secret to seeing results from your workouts. If you don’t have access to a nearby gym, all you need is you, a positive attitude, and either a park bench, strong table or chair to complete her 14-minute workout. Start off with 15 reps of jump squats, 12 reps of of box jumps and weighted step ups followed by raised leg lunges. Then, repeat.
