What do I need to bring with me on my first visit?
Please bring a valid ID (Military ID’s accepted) on your first visit. If you are under the age of 18, please bring a valid ID and your legal guardian. If you do not have an ID, please bring a photo school ID & birth certificate.

Do I need to make an appointment?
iTAN has a walk-in policy for your convenience. However, we do take appointments for all services spanning 45 minutes or longer, which includes the FIT Bodywrap and Airbrush spray tanning. Call your local iTAN if you need to book a FIT Bodywrap or Airbrush spray tanning service.

What should I do to prepare prior to my visit?

  • Sun: You’ll achieve the best bronzing results after you’ve showered, exfoliated, and moisturized your skin. We recommend wearing dark clothing if you plan on using a lotion that’s infused with bronzers.
  • Spray: We recommend that you shave, shower, and exfoliate the day before your spray session. It’s advised to refrain from using any lotions, oils, or deodorants before your visit. It’s best to wait 4-8 hours after you spray before using these products again as they can block the solution from properly absorbing. Plan to wear dark, loose clothing after your session for optimal results.
  • Spa: In order to fully maximize your treatment, we recommend that you shower and exfoliate your skin beforehand.

 

What are the differences between our sunbeds?
Each of our sunbeds is unique and contributes to the tanning process. The main difference between the sunbeds is whether they build, bronze, or customize your glow. Click here for more information about each sun service.

What is a spray tan and how long will it last?
DHA is the main ingredient used in all sunless applications during your session. DHA is dihydroxyacetone, a carbohydrate (monosaccharide sugar) compound approved by the FDA for use in externally applied sunless tanning solutions. DHA is usually derived from a vegetable source like beets or sugar cane. Once applied to the skin and in contact with oxygen, DHA begins to oxidize and create the appearance of sun-kissed skin. The oxidation process takes anywhere from 4-8 hours. During this time, avoid showering or engaging in activities that make you sweat. After the development process is complete, your results will last anywhere from 4-7 days.

What is an iCLUB?
iTAN’s iCLUB membership allows you to enjoy convenient monthly auto-pay and access to unlimited services. As an iCLUB member, you can cancel anytime without a long-term commitment and access to all 31 iTAN locations. Plus, you’ll receive monthly in-salon specialsemail loyalty rewards and referral offers. With each membership type, you’ll earn different rewards. The longer you stay, the more rewards you’ll earn!

Am I locked into a contract?
No, we make it as easy as possible for members to make changes to their account after their first auto-debit. iTAN’s iCLUB memberships don’t require long-term commitments or contracts.

When is the last day to alter my iTAN membership?
If you need to update your account, just give us a heads up in writing by the 25th of that month either while you’re in the salon our via the iTAN contact form.

Can I place my iCLUB membership on hold?
Of course! iCLUB memberships can be placed on hold for up to 12 months at a time. It only costs $5/month to maintain your membership while it’s on hold. After you’re ready to re-activate your membership, notify your local iTAN in-person. During your visit, the salon consultant will add the monthly $5 increments to your account as an in-store credit.

Is there a cancellation fee?
No, iTAN doesn’t charge a cancellation fee, making these memberships the best option for sun, spray and spa savings.

How can I cancel my account?
If you need to cancel your account, just give us a heads up in writing by the 25th of that month either while you’re in the salon our via the iTAN contact form.

Do my product discounts expire?
As long as you’re an active iCLUB member, you’ll receive 15% off any multi-use product. Sun Spray Spa iCLUB members receive an even greater discount with 25% off any multi-use products.

What are iTAN’s age requirements?
18+: Enjoy UV Tanning Sunbeds, Spray Tanning, FIT Bodywrap, Photo Facials, Beauty Angel, Hydration Station, Teeth Whitening, and Aqua Massage services.

14-18 with Parental Consent: Enjoy Spray Tanning, Hydration Station, Teeth Whitening, and Aqua Massage services.

Can a salon hold my lotion for me?
In order to maintain the upscale environment of our salons, iTAN is unable to store customer products at our facilities. We recommend keeping your iTAN products with you or in a moderate climate to ensure that the solution is well-preserved. Warm environments like cars don’t provide optimal storage conditions.

Can my child be left unattended in the lobby?
For your child’s safety, children must be 12 years of age or older to be left unattended in the lobby.

Can my pet visit iTAN with me?
Service animals are the only pets permitted at iTAN locations. This helps us maintain a relaxing salon experience for all customers.

What is your product exchange policy?
Don’t love your recent product purchase? No problem! Bring in your ¾ or more full-sized product within 7 days of purchase and we would be happy to exchange it for an in-store credit.

Can I transfer or share my iCLUB membership or package with another iTAN customer?
iTAN doesn’t permit transferring or sharing of services purchased, but does offer the flexibility of having access to all 31 locations with your membership or package.

Can you clarify a salon policy for me?
Of course, we’re always happy to help. Just ask one of our salon consultants at your local iTAN or reach-out to us via the iTAN contact form.
